It’s about time for a long weekend and lovely weather. If it’s going to rain in Seattle, escape to the East! Here are a few spots we personally recommend.
1. ROLLING HUTS – Methow Valley
These Olson Kundig designed huts take “glamping” to a chic new level. Each hut is equipped with a fireplace, refrigerator, microwave and wi-fi. Each efficiently designed hut sleeps two, with extra modular furniture that can be configured to sleep 2 more.
Whether you like to hike, mountain bike, or explore, the Methow Valley is the perfect destination. Beautiful mountain vistas, wildflowers, and forests are complimented by farmers markets, shops, bakeries, and micro-breweries.
If you’re up for going a tad more rustic, check out the Methow Safari Style Tents!
2. SUN MOUNTAIN LODGE – Winthrop
Posh accommodations in a spectacular setting, the Sun Mountain Lodge is your full-service memorial day getaway. Spend your day exploring by horseback, hiking, fishing, or mountain biking. Spend you evening at the spa, then treat yourself to fine dining at the Wolf Creek Bar and Grill.
3. CAVE B INN – Quincy
Breathtaking views, a spa, restaurant, award winning wines and boutique, luxurious accommodations: Cave B is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. Choose to stay in the main lodge, a stand-alone Cliffehouse, or a posh yurt. Kick off your stay with a wine tasting and bottle of Caveman Red.
