New Seattle Billionaire

Seattle developer Martin Selig has worked in Seattle real estate for over 50 years. Focused on high-end high-rises, Selig developed Fifth & Jackson and Fifth & Yesler. He also built and owned Seattle’s tallest building, Columbia Center, and sold the property in 1989 for $354 million.

As a major contributor to Amazon’s commercial space, Selig recently grew his fortune and is now worth an estimated $1.1 billion.
